To begin this quest, find Daisy and talk to her. She’ll tell you that she’s happy to be reunited with Donald and, as such, wants to have a housewarming date to celebrate her return to the Valley. As part of this date, Daisy has ordered some Mochas from Remy and needs us to go and pick them up and meet her in her house.

Once you get to Daisy’s house with the Mochas, you’ll discover Donald and Daisy standing with their backs to each other in silence, surrounded by mess and chaos. Apparently, something has gone very wrong.

The first step to completing this quest is to figure out what has happened to put Donald and Daisy at odds, and you’ll need to talk to them both to get to the bottom of it. It turns out that, while trying to build Daisy a new wardrobe, Donald hit his hand with the hammer and freaked out, breaking everything around him. Daisy had no idea what was going on and got mad, shouting at Donald. Now they each think the other is mad at them. We’ve all been there.

Relationship troubles aren’t helped by a messy home, though, so the next thing you need to do is clean up Daisy’s house:

  • Use your Royal Watering Can to wash away the Stains
  • Use your Royal Shovel to clear away the Broken Flower Pots

Talk to each of the feathered Villagers again and Donald will ask for your help rectifying the situation.

In order to patch things up with Daisy, Donald wants to take a second attempt at building a new wardrobe for her. While he works on plans, it’s your job to head out in search of materials.

To complete this step, make sure you have the following materials in your inventory:

  • 5 Dream Shards
    • Found when digging up sparkling holes
    • Sometimes dropped by critters when fed something they love
    • An occasional drop from destroying Night Thorns
  • 25 Hardwood
    • Foraged from the ground in the following biomes:
      • Forest of Valor
      • Glade of Trust
      • Funlit Plateau
      • Frosted Heights
    • A maximum of 20 can sometimes be purchased on Kristoff’s Stall for 10 Star Coins each
    • Drops from Big Tree Stumps when broken using the Shovel
  • 6 Tinkering Parts
    • Made using two Iron Ingots
  • 4 Iron Ingots
    • Crafted using five Iron Ore and one Coal Ore

Iron Ore can be found when mining in all biomes of the Valley except Dazzle Beach, The Plaza and Peaceful Meadow. You’ll need a total of 40 Iron Ore to complete this step of Trouble in Paradise.

Once you’ve got the materials in your inventory, find Donald and hand them over.

In her attempts to fix the situation, Daisy wants to make some Carrot Cake to give to Donald. She’ll ask you to plant and then harvest the following items because obviously, only the freshest ingredients will do:

  • 3 Sugarcane
    • Grown from seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall on Dazzle Beach for 5 Star Coins each. They take 7 minutes to grow and need watering once.
  • 3 Wheat
    • Grown from seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow for 1 Star Coin each. They take 1 minute to grow and need watering once.
  • 6 Carrots
    • Grown from seeds purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow for 10 Star Coins each. They take 15 minutes to grow and need watering once.

Once you’ve waited 15 minutes (or used a Miracle Growth Elixir to grow the crops instantly), harvest the ingredients and hand them back to Daisy, who will make the Carrot Cake.

All that’s left to do now is listen in on Daisy and Donald’s apologies, then talk to Daisy once more to finish up Trouble in Paradise.
