In nearly every weekly BitLife challenge, one of the first objectives is creating a character in a specific country. More often than not, these go even deeper than this, asking for a particular US state. Here’s how to be born in New Jersey in BitLife.
How to be born in New Jersey in BitLife
To create a new BitLife character born in New Jersey, you’ll need to choose the United States as your starting country and Newark as your starting place. In the real world, Newark is a city in the US state of New Jersey, making it the ideal starting spot for this task.
Although a common alternative is to use BitLife’s custom city feature to add New Jersey as an option, this usually has mixed results. After testing this through multiple challenges, I’ve only had it work twice with random states; this strategy doesn’t work reliably, making it easier to learn each US city and which states they’re associated with.
Once you choose the United States and Newark as your starting location, you’ll make a new character in New Jersey, knocking out any relevant challenge tasks and allowing you to progress through other objectives. If you have the challenge vault, you can also use this to complete multiple, as you’ll already have the New Jersey task finished. Doing this is particularly helpful if you’re working on a challenge like the GTL Challenge but have plans to progress through the My Way or Creeper By the Dozen challenges.
Similarly, you can use this strategy to be born in other US states for various challenges. For example, the Simpler Life challenge requires being born in California, so you must pick a city like Los Angeles or Sacramento. Likewise, previous challenges have asked to be born in Colorado, Kansas, and several other states, so learning each city will help later.
