Ziff Davis, Inc. is aware of Internet scams being perpetrated involving fake recruiting attempts and job offers.

We will never:

  • Send emails from free, insecure accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail;
  • Ask for money;
  • Request that you purchase equipment for which you would later be reimbursed by the company;
  • Send a check to you to purchase equipment; or
  • Require you to provide personal information, such as your driver’s license or Social Security number during an interview OR ask you to provide this information in an email (collection of this information happens later during the background check and onboarding processes).

If you have any questions about the authenticity of a position or a job offer you may have received we recommend verifying the employment opportunity and the authenticity of the recruiter by visiting www.ziffdavis.com/careers and either confirming the job is posted there or contacting us directly

Please exercise extreme caution as you peruse role descriptions, apply to job openings, and especially as you proceed through any hiring process. If you suspect you may have been the victim of a scam, please contact local law enforcement. Additional information is available on the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (https://www.ic3.gov/).
