Duelists that compete and do well at certain events throughout the course of the 2023-2024 Dueling season will receive “World Qualifying Points” (WQP) to earn the opportunity to compete in an exclusive tournament prior to the start of their region’s WCQ. Top Duelists from each WQP Playoff tournament will be able to secure an invite to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2024. Note that the number of invites each WQP Playoff tournament awards is dependent on the region.
Duelists receive WQP by earning a World Championship Qualifier (WCQ) invite from the following events: Regional Qualifiers, Dragon Duels, OTS Championships, Nationals in Latin America, and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship Series. Duelists that make the Top Cut at the WCQ will also earn WQP for the following year’s WQP Playoff.
In addition to the invitations earned via the WQP Playoff, top-performing Duelists also have the opportunity to earn invitations to the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2024 at their region’s WCQ.
The 2023-2024 Regional Qualifier Season began in August of 2023 and extends through the summer of 2024.
In order to verify whether or not you have earned an invite to the North America WCQ, Central America WCQ, or South America WCQ, you will need to log in to the KONAMI CARD GAME NETWORK (KCGN) website.
