Heslin, known for his role in the 2023 thriller series "Lioness," passed away earlier this week at 30. His husband announced on Friday that Heslin succumbed to an "unexpected cardiac event" on July 2 after a "week-long battle in the hospital."

Despite being young and in perfect health, Dynamo shared that doctors "have no explanation for what happened" to Heslin. He added that Heslin, a committed organ donor, had also "given the gift of life to four different families" through his donations.

The couple had been together since 2018 and tied the knot less than a year ago, in November 2023. They also recently started planning for a family and were even picking out baby names.

Mike Heslin's Husband Pays Tribute To Him

In a post on Instagram, Dynamo shared a heartfelt eulogy and a series of photos. He stated that Heslin passed away three weeks shy of his 31st birthday and four months before their first wedding anniversary.

Dynamo described his late spouse as the "world's most perfect father" and expressed his wish to name his future son after Heslin, noting that he hopes to raise him to be at least half the man his husband was.

He continued, stating that Heslin was his "best friend and soulmate," calling him "the sweetest, most caring, and loving man on earth."

Reflecting on Heslin's final moments, Dynamo wrote, "When I felt you take your last breath, my heart shattered into a million pieces."

He added, "If I had the power to trade places with you, I would do it in an instant. But I will take it one day at a time like you always told me to, and live every day in your honor."

Dynamo shared that Heslin was "brilliant, selfless, talented, and a real-life guardian angel" and that he "single-handedly carried me through multiple rounds of cancer" after being diagnosed with testicular cancer in the fall of 2020.

"He was the first person everyone would call to share the good news with, and he was the perfect person to call if they needed a shoulder to lean on or the best advice," he wrote.

The grieving spouse added: "Michael, meeting you was the best thing to ever happen to me. You are my world. You are everything to me."

Despite his grief, Dynamo acknowledged that Heslin is now in a better place, noting, "Heaven has gained another angel."

He concluded his heartfelt tribute with a quote from Shania Twain: "I'll love you 'forever and for always.'"
