The next project from LuckyChap is a baby! People is reporting that Margot Robbie is pregnant. She and her husband/producing partner Tom Ackerley are expecting their first child. Robbie debuted her baby bump in Lake Como, one of the chicer spots to do it.
Robbie and Ackerley met on the set of World War II drama Suite Française in 2013, and the pair married in 2016 in Robbie’s native Australia. The couple are one half of LuckyChap, the production company behind Barbie, Saltburn, Birds of Prey, and more.
At the start of this year, Robbie said she was taking a break from being in front of the camera after the whirlwind success of Barbie. “I also think everyone’s probably sick of the sight of me for now. I should probably disappear from screens for a while,” she told Deadline in January. “I don’t know what I’ll do next, but I hope it’s a little while away.”
