NHL 24 how to edit lines and strategies

Editing your lines and strategies in NHL 24 is fairly simple and straightforward. Prior to logging into a Play Now game or one for Franchise Mode for example, you will first have the option to choose which jersey you want your team to wear. Once you select the jersey you want to wear, you will arrive at the pre-game menu, where not only you can hit ‘Start’ to play your game, but also select a tab option that reads ‘ Edit Lines And Strategies.’

Inside this menu, you will be presented with your teams full lineup where you can substitute and swap players in and out of the four lines you have. However, if you’re trying to take your game plans a step deeper with strategy changes, you can do so by hitting Triangle or Y on your controller. Doing so will open a separate strategies menu that will grant you the opportunity to determine how much you want each line to focus on a certain area of play and which areas you want them to focus on most.

Once you enter the strategies menu, you can also pick which line you want to start with and edit the areas of concentration for each of your lines, offensive and defensive. If you’re looking to take your game to new heights and beat fiercer competition, getting a feel for which strategies work best for your team’s lines will go a very long way. So don’t hesitate to play around with these options and see how your lines perform when making the strategy tweaks you’re after.
