Contact developer reveals new game, Space Agency

Audio Inc., the studio responsible for the slightly sinister RPG Contact, has a brand new DS game in the works, featuring the same retro graphics and broken English as its predecessor. This is Space Agency, and the developer is currently looking for a Western publisher.

Billed as a “space action RPG for world gamers,” Space Agency is set in the year 3010 during the Christian Era. The story revolves around a “lad” who joins the Space Agency to defeat space pirates and the “Wire Puller” in order to save eight planets across the galaxy. Battles apparently “break out in the seamless” and spaceship piloting appears to be a feature.

Players will also need to learn social skills and raise negotiation, character, environmental, pheromone and table manner skills. Seriously. Also, one of the screens shows dialog that reads: “Are you a Space Agent? I’m not doing a bad thing of anything.”

Space Silence Sense of Journey.
