Christine Mwase

Christine Mwase is passionate about leveraging technology to solve real world problems, and the intersection of technology, policy, and economics to drive meaningful change. She is currently a PhD candidate in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics and is pursuing research on efficient distributed deep learning methods. Her research interests include AIoT, edge AI/ML, distributed systems, embedded intelligence, wireless networks, and the Internet of Things. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications Systems and Signal Processing from the University of Bristol in the UK and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath in the UK. She is involved in academia, tech startups, leading the development of innovative solutions for local impact, and building innovation ecosystems.
