What is a sign-in ID email address?
Each account has a unique sign-in ID, which corresponds to a valid email address used to sign in to PSN. Email is the primary mode of communication between PlayStation and players, and is used to:
verify your account
ensure that your details are protected
keep you up to date on important account information.
It’s recommended that you use an up-to-date and accessible email address.
Having problems changing your sign-in ID?
There may be connectivity issues or PlayStation Network maintenance. Please check your internet connection and visit the PSN status page.
