Most Baka Pipboy exploits are fixed if you use https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29119 added "mute in menu immediate" to player and NPC footstep sound so they dont continue playing while you use Pip-Boy. Pic by @Spooky.Daggers

BEWARE: Baka Pipboy is instant and doesnt interrupt animations so starting something then opening the menu completes: Reloading, stagger, consumables and melee attacks. It also interrupts looping sounds without letting them finish so automatic weapons without menu mute will continue playing.
