About Us:
We are an indie game development team dedicated to creating a dark-fantasy, action-adventure RPG with a souls-like experience. Our project is driven by passion and creativity, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us on this journey.
Project Overview:
Our game is set in a dark-fantasy world, featuring 8-9 core environments with varied enemies, landmarks, and in-depth rich lore. Additionally, there will be three underground environments, two underwater environments and around 2 environments in two different dimensions. The gameplay will include intricate combat mechanics, exploration, crafting, and a rich, immersive storyline that will demand attention to little detail.
Key Features:
Souls-like combat with unique mechanics such as dodging, parrying, backstepping, vaulting, and potentially swimming and flying with certain items.
Co-op and multiplayer modes for collaborative gameplay.
A karma system influencing gameplay and story outcomes, as well as different quests and steps to unlock other endings.
Extensive character customization including appearance, class selection, and skill development.
Realistic 3D graphics with a gritty, dark-fantasy art style.
Diverse animations for combat, movement, and interactions.
Rich sound design and dynamic soundtracks tailored to different environments and events.
A user-friendly UI that is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate.
Roles We Are Looking to Fill:
Game Designers: To develop a comprehensive game design document and refine game mechanics.
Character and Environment Artists: To create detailed, immersive 3D models and environments.
Animators: To produce fluid and realistic animations for characters and environments.
Sound Designers/Composers: To create impactful sound effects and memorable music that fit the vibe and aesthetic of the game.
Programmers: To implement gameplay mechanics, UI, and multiplayer functionality.
Writers: To develop a captivating story and engaging lore on top of what I have already created, which in turn is a lot.
QA Testers: To ensure a polished and bug-free gaming experience.
Requirements:
Passion for dark-fantasy and souls-like games.
Relevant experience in your field (game design, art, animation, programming, writing, sound design, or QA testing).
Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Willingness to work on a revenue-share basis.
