Dr.Wily has created the ultimate legion of enemy robots: Snake Man, Gemini Man, Needle Man, Shadow Man, Spark Man, and Magnet Man! Each possesses the power to smash Mega Man into oblivion! But each time you defeat a robot stageguard, you gain his weapon for your own use! With only you and his trusty robot dog to guide him, Mega Man must survive 7 deadly battle stages -- before battling Dr. Wily in an explosive final showdown!

Select any order you wish for battling through the first six stages. Each stage has a robot stageguard. You must defeat it in order to reclaim its weapon for your own use!

In each stage, spikes or water will appear. Transform your robot dog into different machines in order to pass through safely!

In order to win each stage, you must select the right weapon to defeat your enemies!

After completing the first six stages, you will face all six robot stageguards in stage 7! Defeat them and then Dr. Wily, in the shape of a giant robot, will attack you! Only the weapon of snake can defeat him!
