Description
Q*bert is an unofficial adaptation of the classic game Q*bert, here made for the Sinclair QL. In each level the player guides a character through a pyramid-shaped level where you have to jump across a series of blocks to change their colour until every block is changed. Meanwhile there are hazards and enemies that attempt to kill the character.

History
After two months the title was marketed as Z-Fred, most likely to avoid copyright issues. This is however not entirely certain as the original Q*bert game is missing in action. Z-Fred was also one of the games included on the games cartridge Sinclair supplied with the system from mid 1986 onwards, next to Breakout, Gun, Hunt and Pirate.
