Dragon Warrior I & II
Description official descriptions
Dragon Warrior I & II contains Game Boy versions of Dragon Warrior and Dragon Warrior II. This is the third version of each game, following the original games on NES and a later remake on SNES.
In this version, the US localization has a whole new translation with names closer to the original, letting go of the Old-English-like language used in the original. The games have been tweaked to make it slightly easier and allow the player to progress faster: quick-save (the quick-saved game deleted after it is loaded) is enabled anywhere except in battle, banks in which some gold can be stored in case the player dies have been added, and monsters now reward with more experience and gold.

A nice update to the NES series, well worth playing
The Good
The GBC version of Dragon Warrior I & II provided lots of graphical, mechanic, and audio updates to Dragon Warrior I & II that make the games less difficult mechanically to play through and more enjoyable than the original NES versions. The games run excellently and are a great adventure of GBC players, perhaps one of the best RPGs available on that platform (although a port).
The Bad
The games still show their age some, but it can't be entirely avoided and that is one of the great things about playing a classic RPG.
The Bottom Line
A fun RPG full of medieval goodness and a classic quest in RPG history.
