National Video Games Day 🎮
It's National Video Games Day! 🎮 To celebrate, we asked our team members to pull out their favorite childhood memories of video games. Here's what they had to say:
I had a passion for PC Gaming since my earliest childhood. Here I am playing Tapper on the IBM PCjr with an audience of family and friends. © Lucien Vallée, 1987
From childhood dream to adult reality, this is my story with the passionate world of video games. When I was young, it was a way to discover exciting universes, now, it's to build and understand them.
This photo is at my aunt's house when I was playing Alex Kidd, one of my favourite games, on a Master System with my cousins. It was at her house that my passion for games became stronger and stronger!
It was my parents' very first computer, I was 3 years old. I remember being fascinated by this new technology. It was several years later that my curiosity led me to receive an SNES for my birthday. I have never stopped playing since!

I love how video games stimulate the senses - sight, sound, touch - but most importantly give the brain a good workout!
Look at my Game Boy, not my feet. It’s on this little console that I once caught Mewtwo and Zapdos. Despite this impressive achievement, I was never invited to tell my story on a talk show.
I always played video games a lot : my parents would say "too much", I think it was "just enough". And even when I wasn't playing, I was always there to help my friends with their games when they got stuck.
