I hate SEO and I have a valid point to make

An amazing line which I just read:

 Make the pages for real people and not search engines

It has been almost 4 years since I opted Digital Marketing as a profession and after dealing with all the clients(both seasoned and rookies in marketing) I ever met, here is what they know about Digital Marketing

SEO/SMM/SEM

I don’t’ see this as their fault as this is the way the market operates. Just to make you understand the gravity of the situation, an agency in India operates with a name called seosmosem.com.

For god knows what reasons the eyes pop-out whenever I try to put up this perspective in my fraternity. The argument I present to them is as simple as they sound.

Anything which is not natural is artificial.

SEO is the biggest growth hack ever designed and every growth hacker knows the positives and pitfalls of their hack. Modern SEO agencies have just missed that analysis. 

Result: A never ending war between competitors who continuously “try” to project themselves as the sheriff of the entire landscape.

If it comes at a guarantee, it is certainly a scam

Reason 1, Seach engine changes the way they behave regularly. 

Reason 2, it is a zero sum game where loss of someone is profit for someone and that makes SEO completely dependable on how your competitor bets on its fortune. 

And, on the above note, if someone guarantees you an inevitable growth, you are better to judge the credibility of that agency. Probably that’s why every 6 out of 10 people never see SEO working for them.

“Good” is good because it is organic.

Anything relevant will always be relevant, anything natural will be natural and anything trustworthy will always be trustworthy. And,SEO focuses on none of the above facts. As the search engines are evolving, AI has started to play a dramatic role in the way search engines behave and the way these algos index your pages which as per that data is more humanistic rather that artificial.

And at last,

What looks like SEO is not SEO

Anything apart from “Google search console”,billed to you is with the pure intention to bleed you white. In case if you believe that reducing page speed and mobile compatibility is the part of SEO then it is a right time to hire a full-time front-end designer in your company.

So, does it mean that I will never use SEO for myself?

Absolutely not. Because and if you try to resist that system,with no question of being right or wrong, you will probably be thrown out of the system or might never make a move.For me, SEO is like that corrupt supervisor which forces other non-corrupt officials to behave in the same way.
