Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges: Celebrating Women in Engineering and Empowering the Future

On June 23, we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), an annual event highlighting the incredible achievements of women engineers worldwide. This day serves as a reminder of the many contributions women have made to the field of engineering as well as the ongoing challenges they face. Today, we applaud the achievements of trailblazing women at Microsoft who exemplify the spirit of INWED. These women embody resilience, mentorship, and a dedication to a more diverse and equal engineering community. Their stories show how far women have come—and the work that still needs to be done.
