I have been working on this piece in Unreal Engine in my spare time. It was a great learning experience, I based it on a concept but wanted to design the landscape I visualized as I built the assets so there was a lot of back and forth with how I should place the assets in the scene. It's the little things, like the waving flags, dangling lanterns, etc. These are the things we concept artists wish were in our paintings... I think 2024 is my year to learn Unreal Engine!

Great art direction!! If you fly a dragon from close to screen left of camera towards the bridge in the distance with some camera shake it would look stunning!
