There's a growing realisation about how coordinating distributed energy resources (think batteries, EVs, etc) is going to be absolutely key to a stable and rapid energy transition. If you're headed to All Energy next week, stop by to find out more about how Amber's created a new model of energy retailing and a different kind of virtual power plant - ones that put the interests of energy consumers above those of the provider, in order to incentivise consumer participation and accelerate the renewable shift. #AllEnergy2023 #EnergyTransition #DemandResponse #RenewableEnergy
Come say hi at the Amber booth, next week at All Energy 2023!

At On.Energy, 2023 was amazing, and I'm excited about our 2024. Our IPP business continues to grow with our assets in ERCOT under construction and exciting new projects unfolding in Texas and other U.S, regions. Intersolar 2024 has me even more excited as I find myself immersed in this vibrant atmosphere, collaborating with peers, partner suppliers, technology providers, transmission companies, legislators, and policymakers. Witnessing this energy and collaboration at this conference not only excites me, it re-energizes me as I see this industry collectively driving the inevitable reality of this energy transition. The goal of achieving a carbon-neutral industry isn't just talk; it's an unstoppable force. The change is here, and I'm excited about the present and the future of this industry.

The conversation about fairness in energy solutions is crucial. A one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work; we need frameworks that are inclusive, and accommodating. This applies to decarbonising transportation both in the UK and the Majority World. Our table had an insightful discussion on electric mobility during the #FairEnergyFutures kick-off workshop. It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss this topic with researchers from different disciplines, ranging from Engineering to Environmental Science, Sociology, and Politics etc. P.S. It's always a pleasure to be mentioned, although maybe I was talking too much! Fair Energy Futures #sustainabledevelopment #decarbonisation #transport
🔍 In our kick-off workshop last month our #FairEnergyFutures community dived deep into the intricate web of energy research through system mapping, 🌐 discovering and uncovering hidden opportunities for collaboration and innovation. Richard Oduro gives us a write up of the process: https://lnkd.in/gC5VNHBk

⚡ ⚡ Nothing to see here...it's only the leading #powermarket data provider, and the premier #energymanagement solution discussing how to leverage #marketdata to better manage load in response to real-time market & grid conditions, and using *actual* client usage data to create customized facility level strategies... again, nothing to get too excited about... ⚡ ⚡ ... (okay, I lied.. I'm *really* excited... and y'all should be too!) #yallneeddata #data #energymarkets #datasolutions #datamanagement #energydata #demandresponse #gridoptimization #realtimemarket #facilitymanagement #teamwork #provensolutions #SaaS #energysoftware
We appreciate the invitation from Yes Energy to participate in their upcoming Houston Learning Lab. Max Frey will be a guest speaker for the session, and will be discussing the importance of taking market data into consideration for active energy management and load strategy. If you use Yes Energy's products, and are interested in learning more about "Bridging the Gap" - reach out about joining us.

From Energy Storage, EVs, Solar, Wind…How do we effectively “connect” it all across our national built and grid environments and do it in a more efficient, resilient, smart and equitable way? It’s a human solution. It takes the willingness of leaders and innovators, having the right conversations, working in a collaborative manner to develop the right strategies and operational planning that will lead to the most efficient outcomes. Roosevelt Strategic Council is proud to bring together a truly cross – sector group from Federal, City, State, and County leaders along with DoD installations, Commercial and Industrial Facilities, Utilities, Research and Industry Innovators during our 5th DERs & Microgrids Connect Summit November 8 - 9 2023 in National Harbor, M.D. These leaders know that great teams are built on diverse backgrounds and expertise and that talking with other sectors is an effective way to gain ideas and build collaboration to help our nation move towards a more distributed and decarbonized energy future. Check out some of these bold leaders who are invested in finding the right path forward and you can learn more about the Summit at: https://rscouncil.org/ders
