Meet Spencer Rizer, a wood technologist at UFP! Despite joining UFP just as the pandemic shook up the business world in 2020, Spencer dove in headfirst. Facing the challenge of learning amidst restrictions, Spencer remained resilient. From virtual meetings to on-site visits, to filling in during staffing crunches, Spencer's dedication always shone through. Spencer credits much of his growth to his teammates and the experts he's met along the way. “Their experience is invaluable," he said. Billy, who served in the US Air Force for over 17 years, recently joined our UFP team! He transitioned from active-duty status to the Michigan Air National Guard and needed an officer to administer his Oath of Enlistment. Luckily, his supervisor is a commissioned officer in the Michigan Army National Guard and stepped up! On May 31, 2024, Billy finalized his reenlistment contract and transferred to the Michigan Air Guard. He'll serve as a traditional guardsman while contributing to our company full-time.
