Last week I shared my excitement of announcing LEGO Horizon Adventures for PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch, which is developed by Guerrilla together with Studio Gobo 🔥 Today however I am proud to share that we have partnered with Nintendo to debut the game running on Nintendo Switch in their latest Nintendo Direct showcase event in America, Europe, and Japan! I am so proud of all the teams involved! Last night I had the honour and privilege to represent Horizon Call of the Mountain with Guerrilla & Firesprite at the BAFTA Games Awards! Here are the snaps of our crew, along with a very tasty desert trophy we all received 😉 Today I also realised I have worked on four BAFTA nominated games (with Snipperclips being my first BAFTA Games Awards experience!). What an incredible evening with so many great people, which reminded me how much I enjoy working in this industry. Congratulations to all the winners! 🧡 🏆

This week we launched the Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition for PC - Whoop! I am super proud of the teams at Nixxes Software and Guerrilla making this amazing port happen - its smooth like butter 🏹 🔥 I want to celebrate the amazing people involved in my team - starting with all the amazing folks that worked on all the campaign assets, ranging from key art, to screenshots, to building all the trailers from scratch: Lamine Outeldait Dimitri Janssen @sunjeev (aka SunhiLegend) Madse Krivokutya Nadja Azmi Ilya Golitsyn - as well as our amazing freelance creatives - Paul van Barneveld Jorrit Monné Jorrit Kiers! A big shout out also goes to Jessica Williams for the amazing licensing support all year round building the hype, as well as Craig Stuart & Eri Noda for our brand productions making us shine as a AAA IP, which is not an easy feat! I am super proud of the brand that has been established with Horizon Forbidden West, as part of the overall Horizon franchise brand building! And last but not least, I want to applaud the amazing comms activities by Bo de Vries who coordinated all PR coverage, messaging, and so much more, as well as all efforts from the community team who are our embracing who have been vigilant with managing our social channels and embracing the new community members via Anne van der Zanden with a ton of help getting ready from Chanté Goodman & Narae L.. After a few years of campaign around Horizon Forbidden West we may now be moving on to other Horizon projects, but I will always be looking back at the time working on HFW as a true peak of my career where I feel blessed to be able to have worked with such an incredibly talented (and really fun) team! 👊

This week we are celebrating the announcement of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition - the accumulation of six years of hard work at Guerrilla! It was an honour to host Her Majesty Queen Máxima today! We did this to help raise awareness of the Dutch games industry in the public eye.
