Microsoft is collaborating with ISTE and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) to empower pre-service teachers in harnessing the power of AI tools safely, responsibly, and innovatively. By developing a deep understanding of the many benefits of AI technology, from streamlining tasks to exploring innovative teaching methods, teachers will have the ability to engage students like never before through data-driven insights, enhanced feedback capabilities, personalized learning and more. Jorge D. has been serving as a Microsoft TEALS Program volunteer and helping to teach computer science (CS) at his alma mater, North Shore High School, since 2020. "I help the teachers as an aide and step in to give my take on how the materials relate to the real world. This helps give the kids another perspective from the field."
