Helping create world-class AAA games for PC, console & mobile - Head of Business Development for Behaviour Interactive

Lara Croft has always been one of my favorite video game personalities, ever since I played the debut game on the PlayStation in 1997. Until recently, I even still had the original disc from back then. I donated it to a video game culture club a few years ago, and when I look at the prices on ebay today, I sometimes wonder, if that was such a smart move. I've played almost all of the following Tomb Raiders over the last 25 years, not always completely, but always with great enthusiasm, and Lara is rightly one of the most famous video game characters today and a pioneer in so many ways: Lara Croft is one of the first major female protagonists in video games. Her role as a strong, independent, and capable character helped break gender stereotypes. She has become a cultural icon, transcending video games to appear in movies, comics, and merchandise. Angelina Jolie became a Hollywood Superstar by portraying Lara in the highest-grossing action movie of its time with a female action star, cementing her status in popular culture. I can hardly wait for the announced new series on Amazon Prime. Lara's distinctive look, characterized by her athletic build, signature braid, and dual pistols, has become instantly recognizable, and in the truest sense of the word: legendary The Tomb Raider series has influenced the development of action-adventure games with respect to gameplay mechanics and narrative styles. It has paved the way for so many other games we love today, continually reinventing itself to remain relevant and engaging. With her intelligence, bravery, and resourcefulness Lara Croft is a true role model and inspiration, so you can imagine, how proud and happy I am seeing her now come to Dead By Daylight. Swept into the fog and faced with one of her darkest adventures yet, Lara’s survivalist spirit will be pushed to the extreme. Instead of seeking artifacts in long lost tombs, she must now rely on a group of fellow survivors, clinging desperately to a common goal, no matter hopeless things may seem. A big big thank you to our great partners at Crystal Dynamics, to Keith Mutzman and the whole Tomb Raider team, and Kudos once again to the #DeadByDaylight team at Behaviour Interactive. As they say: "If adventure has a name, it must be Lara Croft." - So, go play and have a fantastic adventure in the Fog.

Love to hear one of my favorite video game characters making her entry! Also, what a pleasure to hear Keith Mutzman mentioned - blast from the past, but Keith rocked even back when we briefly worked together at 2K!

You must have a ghostwriter putting down these kinds of posts - awesome stuff. Great collab!
