Just got coverage back on my post-apocalyptic sitcom, Loving Life: "Throughout the pilot, the situational comedy of having our characters rebuilding life within a post-Deadhead world creates additional gory humor. Within this pilot, there are already themes potentially explored within the next episodes, including themes of resiliency and potentially a restructuring of class within the setting of Los Angeles.... Overall, I found this pilot incredibly unique in premise and theme, with the biggest strengths here being the whip smart dialogue among some witty, complex characters."

Census is a great example of what's wrong with the comic book industry nowadays, but not in the way you think. Marc Bernardin, Adam Freeman & Sebastián Piriz have created a world & characters that deserve a long-running, years long series. It shouldn't be limited to this five issue run. Are you looking for a new show to binge?? A tale of courage, hope, and human connection to the world premiered on Netflix on November 2. Watch the epic series “All the Light We Cannot See”! Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Anthony Doerr, Shawn Levy had waited years to get the rights to be able to adapt this into a show. Levy created this 4-part series to fully embrace the novel’s more quiet and lighthearted moments along with its more central tension. Levy held a worldwide casting search for blind and low-vision actors to cast one of the main characters. Aria Mia Loberti was casted as the Blind French girl protagonist, and Levy said “Aria, every single day, was able to teach me about the experience of living without sight.” This is a wonderful movie with an amazing cast and crew, and we highly recommend it. “The book — just as its title promises — is about lightness and darkness and hope and evil and heartbreak and love,” Levy says. “It’s hardly a happy ending, but it does posit the possibility of survival, the persistence of innocence and hope, and the constant ability to rebuild.” Let us know your thoughts on this show! In the first episode of Elsbeth, an awesome spinoff of The Good Wife, a crime is solved (spoiler alert coming -) thanks to a text message analysis. As I'm quite obsessed with writing well and being clear with one's messaging, I found it really interesting. Then I realised I am acting just like that criminal - I too use double space between sentences/paragraphs in my whatsapps. Elsbeth says in the show this is how "older people" communicate. Can't argue there - younger people tend to communicate without a breather, they speak fast and swallow words and write similarly. But it doesn't matter how old you are, and if you're a criminal or an innocent innovator, add some spaces on all forms of messaging in order to be clear. #storytelling #messaging CBS
