Today is #nationallawenforcementappreciationday. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (𝐋.𝐄.𝐀.𝐃.). It's the perfect time to share all about our First Responder Program at Kindle Hill Foundation. The foundation serves a diverse population of clients, and also focuses on training and treatment for the first responder community, namely, law enforcement. Kindle Hill Foundation chose to emphasize law enforcement because we recognized the need in this professional population, and the potential benefits in improved physical wellness and mental health. Our programs are designed to support first responder wellness in three general areas: ~Communication (learning) ~Mental health (therapy) ~Professional and personal self-care (training) Find out more at: https://lnkd.in/g7F3kXKV #firstresponder #equineassistedtherapy #equineassistedlearning #equinetherapy #bluebellpa #horsesheal https://lnkd.in/gNK2CrWc

We don't seem to question the way that we treat mental illness. Maybe we should. We have stuff about that in a new book from Pluto Press. We also have book news and reviews, some classic crime fiction getting a revival on Netflix, and a bit more for you. It's time to put the kettle on, open a fresh packet of custard creams and put your feet up for a few minutes while you read this week's Compass Weekly Newsletter. #mentalhealth #booknews #bookreviews #newbooks #crimefiction #classiccrime #businessbooks https://lnkd.in/er7YGcze
