Today is #nationallawenforcementappreciationday. 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐄𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 (𝐋.𝐄.𝐀.𝐃.). It's the perfect time to share all about our First Responder Program at Kindle Hill Foundation. The foundation serves a diverse population of clients, and also focuses on training and treatment for the first responder community, namely, law enforcement. Kindle Hill Foundation chose to emphasize law enforcement because we recognized the need in this professional population, and the potential benefits in improved physical wellness and mental health. Kids go through phases and little moods all the time, so how do you know that your child needs the support of a therapist? There are no guaranteed signs, and you know your child best, but these are some things to be on the lookout for if you're concerned. If your child shows some of these signs, it doesn’t mean that they definitely do or don’t need to talk to a therapist.
