Hello Everyone! This is the classic neon sign atop the Benjamin Moore Lofts, a condo community not far from where I live. During Pride Month, rainbow colors were projected from the sign (and I've included a photo in the "Comments" section below), but last night it was presented in red, white & blue for the 4th of July. For all of my American colleagues and friends, best wishes for a happy and safe 4th of July weekend!

In the past month, we've seen several classic examples why an effective #IncidentResponse plan might be the most important factor for success in recovery from a #cyberattack, aside from an effective technology partner who can help you to understand how/why the attack originated. (I will include a link to the most recent example in the comments section, along with a snippet from a current news article). The 8 easy steps that I outlined in this 2022 blog are still completely relevant to overcoming a cyber-incident, midway through 2024. Major take-aways: 1) If you don't have an Incident Response plan, create one now. 2) If your Incident Response plan hasn't been updated recently, now is the time to do so. Please feel free to share with your colleagues and your executive team, and have a great week ahead.

As Tennessee Williams wrote in "A Streetcar Named Desire," I've always depended upon the kindness of "strangers."
