The best time to eliminate employee burnout on your team is before it starts. Here are 7 tips on helping your employees prevent burnout. 1.     Wellness Give employees access to wellness resources such as apps, programs or a stipend. 2.     Flexibility Allow employees the freedom to finish work on their schedule instead of issuing arbitrary deadlines. 3.     Soft Skills Teach employees soft skills such as resiliency and emotional intelligence. 4.     Engagement Install a system for measuring and ensuring employees are engaged with their work and the workplace. 5.     Leadership Train your employees to be active decision makers in their careers & daily work, not order takers. 6.     PTO If you notice employees taking below average time off make sure they are aware of PTO policies and that they could be taking more time off. 7.     Active Management Train managers on the signs of employee burnout and have them intervene when necessary.
