Many online sites put the price per gram or ml , which is quite helpful for choosing the packaging size of the item. Two things come to my mind, 1. Do we need so many combinations or options ? Should manufacturers not simplify for better economics for #consumers? and most importantly 2. based on plastic packaging weight ? But, when do we rethink, redesign and innovate our packagings to reduce single use plastic for #planet ? I am taking here one example of popular hair oil , standard type is available in 200, 300, 600, 1000 ml with small cap and also 200 & 600 ml with large cap size . Now, 1. small size bottle can be reused throughout year , if one improved design is used for small and big cap and 2. one large size refill pack without plastic container, how much single use plastic can be minimised by each manufacturer? This has been already done in #handwash liquid soap category by all brands. Would it not be a win win case for #manufacturers #Channel #consumers and most importantly for our #Planet.
