I made my first million dollars by answering a random DM. In 2014 we all hung out on Alex Becker's SEO forum, Source Wave. A member reached out to me, saw that I was sharing a lot of my case studies and success with PBNs and asked… “I’m sure you’re not using all of your network.  Want to start selling this as a service?  You do the sales and marketing, I’ll do the operations.” And thus was born Diggity Links which peaked out at $140k monthly revenue and was eventually acquired. There’s a few key takeaways: 1️⃣ When you help others and showcase your expertise (i.e. personal branding), opportunities come to you. Don’t sleep on creating a personal brand, especially as we move into the age of AI. It’s simple.  Pick your medium (social media, youtube, blogging, etc) and teach people what you know. And now with AI to assist with repurposing, you can be on all channels with one effort. 2️⃣ Partnerships are 1+1=3 There’s Visionaries and there’s Integrators (read “Traction”). I’m a Visionary.  I can find product-market fit.  I can put my feet in the shoes of a consumer.   I can create new products and services. I’m not an Integrator.  I suck at operations.  It pains me to create processes and hire and manage big teams. Know who you are, and partner with your complementary opposite. 3️⃣ Opportunities can come out of anywhere If someone pitches you an idea, listen to it. Even if you end up turning it down, you at least sharpened your vetting skills. Which is the primary skill you use in investing (the place that you’ll eventually end up).

So agree with you brother. Personal branding opens a lot of doors that none of us had ever imagined. For me, it has got me some of my biggest clients and solid networking. PS: Good old Alex Becker, Source Wave and Warrior Forum days. Back then, I used to dream of making $100 per day with affiliate sites.
