Not every game development process needs to chase the latest craze because not all AI products out there are suited for our clients' needs in the first place. Events like these are a fantastic opportunity to keep up with innovation across the industry.
At LocWorld, I was honoured to hop on stage with Ruth Granados from Bethesda, who talked about the use of AI to properly categorise each piece of content in a game, automate metadata capture, and label it to minimise contextual errors throughout localization and quality assurance steps.
Cristina Anselmi and Amanda Hawthorne from Electronic Arts do some brilliant work that focuses on making AI and Machine Translation more gender inclusive.
At Game Quality Forum, Matt Ditton from Mighty Build and Test shared automation workflow best practices after having implemented our solution into the development process of 12 different games.
All this innovation is not simple or easy to achieve but it makes my heart sing to see so many pioneers coming together to design ways to create better global player and customer experiences."
