I am so bored of SEO LinkedIn. It's the same stuff, day in, day out. SEOs telling you that other SEOs don't know what they're doing Complicated words for simple ideas Agencies trashing other agencies Smoke and mirrors case studies The same, tired tropes. I'm bored of it. Let's be honest, for the sake of our industry and all of the clients who trust us to have their best interests at heart. SEO is marketing. It's also Digital PR. It's Content Curation and Creation. AND there's some web developer type stuff involved too. Plus conversion rate optimisation. Plus UX. Most of us are doing our best to implement high quality strategies and tactics across all of the above. We're doing our best to drive results for our clients. We're also doing our best to build our own businesses. There's plenty out there for all of us. We don't have to tear each other down to get a fair share of the pie. Anyone else feeling the same?
Definitely, I'm also shocked by gurus saying SEO is not the same, SEO is changing over and over. Turns out their "new" advice is adding relevant internal links and adding keywords naturally without stuffing. Seriously?😅
It’s the deceitful clickbait style content that drives me insane. “ABC” is dead…. Goes on to explain “ABC” with their own branded terminology.
I am sick of it too, and I'm an SEO 🤣
Feel this so hard! It's why I launched Edge of Search this year to start a dialogue that shows how SEO is a collaborative skill that connects all the areas of digital. It should be something that brings us together, rather than divides us.
Word! Too good not to repost and share! Long live organic traffic / growth!
Not all of us are posting content like that, but the loudest voices with engagement circles seem to be 😆
Sure there is enough pie for everyone and I fully agree but you will say the same thing if someone says "I do SEO" and after 1 year the Google Console graph is a huge flat line ? 😇
I fully agree. Lets not overcomplicate things and just focus on clear value. No need to fight each other over who understands SEO better.
Whatever happened to SEOs looking out for one another and building each other up.

1wTbh I’m tired of this too. And it’s a very American thing to do. No hurt feelings intended. I don’t know where it stems from but in Europe we don’t trash other businesses. There’s even laws in Germany against that. Edit: Certwin AI SEO influencers do a very dangerous job at misleading with clickbaity hooks though. Had a few businesses fall for their tactics thus wasting months of budget…
