So what is this "proven process" I'm always talking about? Well, like most things, it depends. If we're working on standard web projects for Gibson Copy, we use my IMPACT Method. I developed this process in 2019 and still use it now. If you read our testimonials, you'll see a common theme about how good this process is. If I'm working on social media content, I use the EVIDENCE-based model that I developed in 2021. I've taught this process to hundreds of small business owners through masterclasses, one-to-one clients, and group programmes, and I still use it myself now. The foundation of this method is continuously collecting evidence, experimenting, testing, and tweaking. And it really works to get leads. Again, you'll see lots of my past clients talking about how good this is. And because I'm an absolute geek, I have developed yet another process. If we're working on landing page optimisation where the stakes are high and we need to really double down on our skills, I have a more in-depth process called the PEAK process. This is where things get super advanced. This process involves extensive research and evidence collection. In some ways, it's a combination of the IMPACT method and the EVIDENCE-based model. I'll share more info about that soon (the whole thing is epic, so I'm really excited about it!). What are you excited about? Have you developed any unique processes in your business? Good design attracts, good copy sells. You need both. Pretty websites don't sell. Yes, good design is crucial. But there's so much more to a successful website than nice pictures. I have one VIP Day left this month. (Where I spend a full day editing and optimising your website copy) My clients are always over the moon with the amount of work I get done in one day. And between you and me, although you’re paying for a day and not the outcome, I always end up delivering the same (or very close) to a full project. It just takes less time because I’m super strict on my boundaries. Right now, you’re losing money because the words on your landing page have no strategy behind them. You’ve fallen into the trap of thinking good copy is just nice to have. If it sounds ok, it will convert. But that’s simply not true. Moving people from fairly interested to red-hot lead is never just a stab in the dark. If you want to see bigger returns on your marketing spend, you must eliminate costly guesswork. Choose a copywriter that follows a proven process and reap the financial rewards.

"Most people view websites on mobile" is generic advice dished out by wannabe marketers (sorry/notsorry/said with love/bla bla 😬🤗) I'm sure that's true for some industries, and it might even be true for the internet as a whole. So please don't get upset by my flippant comment above. But is it true for your website? Maybe. Maybe not. That's why you have to look at your own unique data. The chart below shows part of the gibsoncopy.com analytics over the last year. Most people view us on a desktop, something I've seen consistently since the start of my business in 2015. So, just be careful with generic advice and instead follow YOUR unique data.
