I am so sadden to learn about the Behaviour Interactive layoffs today. I know a lot of great folks that have been affected, especially in the PX team. In the last 2 years I have been on both sides of layoffs and here's my take: For those who leave... it is a greiving process and it will take time. You will be angry and depressed and anxious but always keep in mind that a layoff doesn't define you, your skills, your worth or your character. Hit me up if we worked together and you need a recommendation or if you're looking for your next project. Let's help each other! For those who stay: it will suuuuck. Give yourself time to process your emotions because you also need time to grieve, you also lose people, trust and stability in the process. You will be asked to "pivot" right away, it is normal to struggle to do so. Team leads, talk with your folks, readjust workloads and expectations and take care of each other. Big hugs. ♥️
