I found out today that I will be awarded the Valedictorian medal for DigiPen's BFA program at this year's commencement! DigiPen has been an incredible and difficult chapter in my life, and I wouldn't have done it without the massive amount of support I received from everyone I know, especially from my father, mother and sister. I want to continue to work as hard as I can and hopefully inspire other Brazilian girls and immigrants to pursue STEM degrees. Happy International Women's Day! ...and Thank you!
