As anticipation builds for the 2023/24 Alpine Ski season, we sat down with Valerie Grenier to discuss what it takes to compete at the elite level for Alpine Canada Alpin. You can catch Valérie in World Cup action this weekend on her home slopes of Station Mont Tremblant, and the team here at White Star Capital couldn't be prouder to be cheering her on as sponsors this season. In our conversation, Valérie shared insights on her journey and the qualities that have fuelled her success so far. We spoke about resilience, a trait she identifies as key for professional ski racers, and how it has been a guiding force for her. After overcoming a challenging injury that kept her out of successive seasons, she bounced back and won her first World Cup victory last season - becoming the first Canadian woman to win a World Cup giant slalom since 1974 💪 🇨🇦
