Waiting for more news about Promised Land Art Festival? 🎨 Meet four more of this year’s speakers! ⚙️ Thomas Elliott is a professional illustrator specializing in sci-fi and fantasy art. He is most well known for his work for Games Workshop, where he created some of the most iconic and evocative images for their flagship fantasy game, Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. ⚙️ John William Crossland has been a professional character artist in the video games industry for the past 15 years. He has worked on a variety of projects, the most recent of which being Alan Wake 2 at Remedy Entertainment. He is also an instructor for The Gnomon Workshop and part of the Zbrush Pixologic Beta Team. ⚙️ Even Amundsen is a freelance illustrator and concept artist from the far and frozen north of Norway. Since a young age, he has been inspired and fascinated by fantasy, which has fueled his doodles & daydreams — and his career as an artist. Over the years he has worked for a number of clients all over the world, including VOLTA, Riot Games, Games Workshop, Blizzard Entertainment, and Wizards of the Coast. ⚙️ Albert Szostkiewicz is a VFX Supervisor with over 20 years of experience in the visual effects industry. Albert has a diverse background that spans working on computer games, TV commercials, and high-profile Hollywood movies. He has led teams that contributed to the success of films such as Dune, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and Man of Steel. Under his leadership, his team received a VES award for Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature. Stay tuned for more! What brings REDs together? Games! Both at work, and beyond. 🎮 Game development is a passion, so it’s no surprise you can find REDs engaging in it even outside of the office. A group of our devs recently met at Pixel Heaven Festival, and one them shared what drove him to attend: 💬 “This year marked my fifth time attending Pixel Heaven Festival, an event that brings together people who share a passion for classic retro games. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is the opportunity to meet more enthusiasts like myself who have a deep love for old-school games and can talk all about common interests like this one, even after a day of work in game dev.
