Overview

As a Venture Capital Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting thorough due diligence, and supporting investment decisions within our venture capital firm. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior investment professionals and entrepreneurial teams to identify and nurture high-potential startups.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Sourcing and Screening:
    • Identify and source potential investment opportunities through market research, networking, and industry outreach.
    • Screen incoming pitch decks and business plans to assess alignment with investment criteria and strategic focus areas.
  • Financial Analysis and Due Diligence:
    • Perform detailed financial modeling, including revenue projections, valuation analysis, and scenario modeling.
    • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target companies, analyzing financial statements, market trends, competitive landscape, and potential risks.
  • Market Research and Industry Analysis:
    • Research and analyze industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning of potential investment targets.
    • Prepare market opportunity assessments and investment thesis documents to support investment recommendations.
  • Investment Memorandum Preparation:
    • Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee, summarizing key findings, risks, and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with senior team members to refine investment strategies and thesis development.
  • Portfolio Management Support:
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing portfolio companies, including financial performance, operational milestones, and market developments.
    • Support portfolio company management teams with strategic initiatives, financial analysis, and fundraising efforts as needed.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investment activities, due diligence findings, and portfolio company performance metrics.
    • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and investors regarding portfolio performance and market trends.

Skills And Qualifications
