What is the Opportunity?

RBC’s Office of the US CIO is responsible for the oversight of all technology supporting the firm’s Combined US Operations (CUSO). The CUSO includes Capital Markets, Wealth Management, City National Bank, RBC Bank (US), and Global Asset Management within the US. Technology groups supporting the CUSO business lines, both directly and indirectly are included in the purview of the Office of the US CIO.

As a US CIO Office TOC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Technology Operating Committee (TOC) and the Senior Leadership Team forum, including setting agenda, preparing presentation materials, organizing guest speakers, documenting meeting minutes, and assigning and following up on action items with owners.

This role reports to the Director of the US CIO Business Office.

What will you do?

  • Develop strong working relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, including CUSO Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Risk IT Program Leads, and Senior Leadership.
  • Work with US CIO Office Leadership team to set agenda and work with colleagues across Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and CUSO IT teams to create presentation materials for Technology Operating Committee and Senior Leadership Team meetings.
  • Lead TOC meetings with cross functional teams to deliver results, triage issues, and drive progress
  • Responsible for creation, organization, storage, and management of all TOC related documentation
  • Foster positive and timely communication about TOC relevant project progress to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders. Oversee project collaboration and resolve conflicts amongst teams.
  • Manage action items / issues list associated with TOC agenda, including providing reminders and transparency of expectations to relevant parties as well as capturing and escalating any roadblocks.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience with Program Management, preferably in a regulatory or compliance program management environment
  • Strong PPT skills, an eye for design, must be able to consistently create highly polished reading material which will be reviewed by regulators and leadership.
  • Extremely collaborative, with strong communication and the ability to drive value of meeting to key stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and a proven ability to juggle multiple things on a structured timeline

Nice to have

  • Experience using persuasive skills when working with leadership
  • Previous experience in a regulatory or compliance program management

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000- $160,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
