Tester I

We are hiring a Tester I for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description

• IT Quality Assurance performs software/system testing and validates if expected results are achieved.
• New System recently implemented for the environmental department- Updates to the system have been made that require testing and validation for accuracy.
  
  

Skills Required

• Need to addReview project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of the project and identify what needs to be tested;
• Participate in team meetings, such as stand-up meetings or sprint retrospectives, to discuss project progress, identify issues, and plan the next steps.
• This may involve manual testing, automated testing, or a combination of both. Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved.
• Any issues found are communicated with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Application Developers.
• Ensure timely notification and escalation of possible issues and problems Act as a liaison between project management and development teams Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Skills Preferred

• Understands comprehensive testing methodologies as appropriate for software development life cycle (SDLC) Understands Microsoft DevOps Experience Required
  
  

Experience Required

• Need to add One year of experience as an IT Quality Assurance Analyst, IT Help Desk Technician, Software Developer, or a similar position that requires testing/debugging
• Experience in Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar Experience in product testing in a professional setting.
  
  

Experience Preferred

• Worked with Enterprise systems QA/QC Testing Excellent documentation skills
• Able to create test steps to walk configuration teams through discovered errors
  
  

Additional Information

• This position will be working with the MCDOT Information Technology Center team.
