Table Games Supervisor

Position Summary

Table Games Supervisor is responsible for the implementation of all operations of Table Games and employee performances in compliance with Cahuilla Casino policy and procedure, objectives, goals and Gaming Regulations.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains a professional, friendly and courteous atmosphere providing the customer with a pleasant gaming experience.
  • Implements and ensures compliance with approved policies, procedures and direct personnel in accordance with corporate policies and objectives.
  • Always proactive with game protection for all assigned games. Protects house assets.
  • Tracks each assigned table for; overall play, bank inventories and keep all paperwork updated.
  • Directly supervises all Table Games dealers.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Cahuilla Casinos policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with training employees; assigning, and directing work; daily appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensures that the dealers conduct their games according to set forth policies and procedures.
  • Advises Table Games Manager of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
  • Informs Table Games Manager of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in table games preferred.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of all table games, rules, procedures, and regulations.
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or bend, and speak and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions and required to move about he Casino floor and exposed to a non-smoke free environment.
