Halvik is looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Sr. Proposal Manager to lead our proposal team. The Sr. Proposal Manager will work closely with Account Managers. Capture Managers, and Executive Leadership to respond to Defense and Civilian Federal pre- and final RFP responses as well as follow-up clarifications, EN, IFN, BAFO, etc. notices.

The Proposal Manager Will Be Responsible For

• pre-RFP/final RFP requirements analysis and response development, production, and delivery
• developing proposal support documents including schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, templates, and color team artifacts
• facilitating proposal solution development sessions and development of proposal strategy artifacts including win themes and discriminators
• scheduling and leading proposal related meetings including kickoff meetings, status calls, color team debriefs
• writing to management, past performance, resumes, and other non-technical response requirements as needed
• collaborating and/or coordinating with operational resources, corporate functional resources, Government personnel, and external teammates
• managing proposal team assignments, including contractor personnel
• supporting additional proposal/business development activities
  
  

Required

• Bachelor's degree
• minimum five years of experience managing proposals in the Federal Contracting space
• strong writing and editing skills
• strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
• experience with GSA and Agency-specific vehicles such as schedules, GWACs, IDIQs, and BPAs
• ability to work independently and proactively
• flexibility to work extended hours as needed
  
  

Preferred

• knowledge and experience with IT concepts
• experience with graphics software like Adobe Illustrator
