About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operate Solutions Marketing, this individual contributor will be a crucial member of the Solutions Marketing Team, and you will be a key contributor to both the Marketing organization and the company overall. This highly visible role will interact cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product and partnerships.
This opportunity is ideal for hands-on industry-expert storytellers with experience in delivering high quality programs and content that educate and connect clearly to customer pains . The role will help define how Matterport creates and aligns to industry-specific values and needs. You will research market trends, identify needs that align to Matterport capabilities and create the marketing and sales content needed to bring our AEC and Facilities Management solution to market.
You will work across Marketing, Sales and Product to research vertical applications for the AEC and Facilities Management industry, their requirements and advantages, craft messaging, sales content, demand generation programs, long-form content such as white papers and customer case studies.
The ideal candidate has a curious mindset in researching industry-specific software and hardware application requirements, understanding their impact on that industry, and crafting value propositions appropriate for our sales and partnership organizations.
What You Will Do
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,800 to $214,500 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. What You Will Do
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for our AEC and Facilities Management solutions aligned to the needs of our go-to-market teams.
- Create compelling industry-specific content, including presentations, application examples, customer stories, sales enablement, partner engagement, and other solution content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of market-facing messaging and positioning.
- Create narratives and sales enablement tools to help companies unlock the value of Matterport
- Build holistic plans that span events, campaign launches, product releases and always on content marketing. Translate customer stories into compelling case studies and industry spotlights
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in solutions marketing, product marketing, or a related role in the tech industry.
- Experience in the technology sector is a plus as is work as a subject matter expert in a AEC or Facilities Management focused technology provider.
- Experience in the AEC or Facilities Management industry is a big plus.
- Experience at companies that sell a mix of hardware, software and services is also a plus.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
