The Senior HR Policy & Program Manager, is a critical role to the People and Workplace team effectiveness. In your role, you will assess and anticipate our HR and Workplace needs, acting as liaison between our HRBP’s, Workplace and People teams. You’ll leverage your strategic HR skills to develop solutions that align our HR programs and policies with our high-level business objective and company culture serving as an employee champion and change agent, you’ll bring value to both our company and our employees, in an exciting growth environment.

  • This is a hybrid role - working remote as well as 2-3 days a week from either our Lewisville, TX or Chicago, IL location.***

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to HR policies, programs and processes to drive efficiencies and take the experience for our employees to the next level.
  • Partner with local and international people leaders to prioritize their people initiatives, give input into company-wide People projects, and help execute talent management programs across region.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership team to implement innovative people process programs that are simple and scalable.
  • Provide strategic partnership to Talent Management and engagement.
  • Be an internal consultant across all business groups in order to present findings and help guide both interpretation and follow-up actions.
  • Partner with our legal department as needed for due diligence with M&A and the Compliance department for internal audits and general company compliance initiatives. Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and processes
  • Assist in driving various HR initiatives: performance management, employee engagement , CSR programs.
  • Develop and maintain an effective working knowledge of Teladoc’s mid- and long- range plans, its culture and its competition. Work closely with HR leadership to continually build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Partnering with our legal department as needed, maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR and employee management, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide oversight of our ES&H, Physical Security and ESG teams, programs and policies to drive efficiencies.
  • Become well versed in all people data and leverage and connect data from the business.
  • Provide consultative advice related to business unit restructure, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Leverage people analytics to identify trends, inform people strategies and focus on retention and engagement drivers.

Qualifications Expected For Position

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 8 years of HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment, with in-depth knowledge and expertise in multiple HR specialties.
  • Experience setting up internal people policies, systems, and procedures in a growing company.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize actions.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, and to juggle several projects with a spirit of flexibility and positive outlook.
  • Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, no matter how big or small.
  • Ability to write and communicate verbally in an effective and compelling manner.
  • Ability to challenge conventional approaches and a willingness to build a unique approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a deep ability to understand what motivates others.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000K-$150,000K. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2024. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
