The Senior. Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Implement existing and develop new strategic and financial models to quantify the value of First Insight’s predictive analytics solutions on the sales, gross margin and relatable KPIs of First Insight’s customers
• Work directly with First Insight’s Account Management team to identify & analyze customer pain points, identify opportunities and apply analytic methods to demonstrate and increase customer value
• Execute initiatives related to profitability, customer retention, loyalty, security, and processing integrity
• Participate as needed as Subject Matter Expert in Retail, Product and Business Analysis
  
  

As a Sr. Retail Business Analyst you will:

• Receive sales and performance data for agreed upon metrics of analysis. Clean data according to First Insight process and best practice to ensure accurate correlation of data based upon agreed metrics. According to best practice, correlate customer performance data with First Insight results data
• Demonstrate how First Insight’s solutions can actionably impact a customers’ strategic and tactical goals in product to market decisions delivering a significant positive impact to operational performance and profitability
• Participate and present in customer meetings
• Transfer knowledge on how to interpret and apply data of FI’s solution suite to support decisions to attain optimal business results
• Engage with customers and internal team to understand and identify opportunities to further support our customer’s achievement of business goals and improve KPIs
• Showcasecurrent best practices and successes - highlighting the early and ongoing value of FI solutions and partnership
• Pay close attention to project team needs, anticipate problems, and recommend solutions
• Work with customers to analyze information that comes from First Insight’s testing protocols
  
  

Operational Management:

• Communicate with members of the organization, particularly in the areas of business analysis, data collection, data analysis and management, value quantification and Insight Best Practices
• Learn and effectively communicate company’s value message to our customers
  
  

Position Requirements

Education

• University degree in the field of mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, and/or business analytics plus 15 years of experience in Retail Business Analytics
  
  

OR

• MBA with focus in business analytics, applied mathematics, finance, or economics plus 5-10 yrs of Retail Business Analytics
• Knowledge & Experience
• Advanced analytic skills
• Established proficiency in Retail Business Analytics
• MS Office with advanced Excel skills
• Ability to analyze and translate business problems to action plans
• Deep understanding of product to market processes and KPIs (metrics) for retail
• Experience with statistical analysis software tools such as R, SAS, SPSS, or other statistical software package
• Skill with Python
