Job Description

We are a Finance team who acts as a true business partner and plays a crucial role in guiding strategic decisions by providing insightful financial analysis. We collaborate with other central departments and markets to ensure effective budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning. By fostering a transparent financial environment , the Finance department contributes to the overall success and sustainability of the organization.

Your Impact to the role:

  • Lead the new product costing process for fresh. Liaise with Global Marketing, cross-functional teams and Management to launch innovative products that meet strategic and profitability objectives. Consolidates all inputs, prepares summaries and presentations, and maintains updates of program financials including forecast/actual revenue, costs, volumes and weight of business by major market.
  • Execute financial analysis and reporting in product-related metrics, including thoughtful analysis and insights that support visibility, decisions and actions, aligned with achievement of strategic goals. Provide timely margin impact analyses on new products and work closely with Global Marketing and Operations partners to improve the profitability on products that don’t meet brand targets.
  • Key support for execution of approved product prices in ERP systems by ensuring that approved price changes are maintained by price list and effective date in coordination with HQ Finance and Market requests. Includes: annual price updates, new products, promo programs and event-driven price changes. Ensures completeness, accuracy and full reconciliation of product prices amongst agreed Master Price Lists and system-based price lists.
  • Responsible as "system gatekeeper" for new product BOM cost by ensuring that BOMs are complete and accurate in terms of cost, quantity used, scrap % and other factors deemed critical to costing quality.
  • Contribute to the development of return-on-investment (ROI) modeling for new launches in coordination with FP&;A, Forecasting and Global Marketing.
  • Support development and execution of annual Standard Cost Revaluation in coordination with other Operations Finance team members.
  • Facilitate the execution of capital expenditure authorization processes linked to product tooling and similar needs.

  • Ability to bring added value to the organization, recommend actions to drive profitability, anticipate needs and manage partners/processes in terms of content, timing and results
  • Regularly present to Management, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable summaries or recommendations
  • Achieve full confidence in ERP system, costing, pricing and related maintenance processes

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position on average of 7.5 hours/day
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, and operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard

Qualifications

Who You Are

You have:

  • 7+Years of Experience Required in FP&A or Cost Accounting, preferably in the Beauty industry and/or in manufacturing + supply chain
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA or CPA preferred

You are:

  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel skills and have experience with major ERP systems, direct experience with AX, and PowerBI a plus

  • Operate with exceptional financial acumen including strong analytical, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills
  • Be highly detail-oriented while delivering results on time across multiple priorities
  • "Zoom in and out" of details when needed whilst keeping the bigger picture in focus. Ability to organize and manipulate large data sets and simplify information for presentation
  • Process review, documentation and improvement skills; focused on data, process and reporting integrity in support of high quality and timely decision-support
  • Independently manage multiple priorities

The salary range for the role is $120,000 - $140,000 USD.
