We are looking for a forward-thinking engineering leader as our colleague with a strong architectural mind that will partner-up with Product to build and lead a team to own the next generation of international payments and financial services.

The role requires understanding of architecture patterns and principles, experience in designing a platform service, leading a team, and effectively delivering on high impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and researching the patterns, trends and anomalies in complex transactional and customer data to detect, prevent, mitigate and report suspicious activity related to money laundering, terrorist financing and structuring.
  • Being a Subject Matter Expert in the AML solution.
  • Dealing with bump ups for technical issues raised by colleagues and working with key stakeholders to recommend appropriate action.
  • Perform data analysis and other quantitative techniques in support of BSA Operations
  • Develop familiarity with current BSA/AML Operations technologies/systems and underlying datasets.
  • Understand and execute Compliance Management Office services to ensure timely completion of various business deliverables.
  • Document, review, analyze, and evaluate business processes, systems, and user needs.
  • Liaison for Department on Tactical, Strategic, and Continuous Improvement Projects.
  • Identify areas of improvement and develop solutions with the business stakeholders.
  • Analyze current systems and processes to identify potential improvements or enhancements.
  • Lead assigned projects and provide support as applicable to other team members.
  • Work with key stakeholders including operational managers and model developers to create business requirements to improve system and model effectiveness.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and staying current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned applications(s).
  • Forms and supports recommendations to business partners to optimize process/system.
  • Creation of User Acceptance Test Case/Scripts creation and execution; defect/Bug identification.

Qualification

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with users who have various technical background, and senior management.
  • Ability to utilize a combination of AWS, MS SQL Server, Oracle, VBA, MS Office Suite including Access and Excel (advance functions).
  • System knowledge with Compliance and AML tools- Risk Case Management, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering, ServiceNow, Change Management, and/or SharePoint experiences is a plus
  • Ability to utilize a combination of any AML tool, MS SQL Server, Oracle, VBA, MS Office Suite including Access and Excel (advance functions)
  • 6-9 years of Relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus). Expert in relational based system and writing complex SQL queries. Expert in T-SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-on, High-Available services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Desire to learn new technologies and ability to analyze the applicability of a technology in business context.
  • Experience supporting production customer facing applications with a global reach
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.
