Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior AR Manager in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities:
Senior AR Manager will manage the full cycle of accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with government contracting regulations and requirements
Oversee the preparation and submission of invoices for government contracts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Develop and implement effective AR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and control
Lead, mentor, and manage the AR team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
Monitor AR aging reports and take proactive measures to minimize overdue accounts
As a Senior AR Manager, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing and collection issues promptly
Prepare and present AR reports and analyses to senior management, providing insights and recommendations
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate recording of AR transactions and adjustments
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in government contracting regulations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounts receivable management, with significant experience in government contracting
Proven track record of managing and leading a successful AR team
Strong understanding of government contracting regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
