Revenue Accounting Manager

360Training is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to join our Accounting team to oversee revenue operations, contribute to growth, and ultimately be apart of the success of the organization.

This is a remote position and we are looking to hire in the following states:

CO, FL, GA, LA, NY, NJ, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, MN, NC, ID, AZ, MI and WI

The pay range for this position is between $95,000-130,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits offered by 360training. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.

Revenue Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Revenue Accounting Manager with a proven track record in team leadership and process development. This role is crucial in our fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to drive results and exhibit strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to oversee revenue operations, contribute to growth, and ultimately be apart of the success of the organization.

Responsibilities

• The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible in overseeing and managing the day-to-day revenue accounting operations, including:
• Manage daily operational revenue transactions and processes.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for all revenue-based accounts, including large volumes of transactions in the payment processor/gateway accounts.
• Oversee and manage Sales and Use Tax compliance.
• Maintain appropriate accounting records for revenue recognition and perform ASC 606 analyses for any new revenue contracts and/or revenue streams.
• Lead interactions with external auditors related to revenue-based accounts.
• Manage all revenue share and royalty transactions.
• Perform hands-on monthly processes per accounting close schedule.
• Hire, mentor, and train revenue accounting personnel under the AR, Billing, Cash Collections, and Refunds functions.
• Other projects as necessary.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• CPA Required
• 4-7 years of accounting experience, some of which must be with the Big 4, and with revenue operations
• Competency with different systems, including NetSuite, Bill.com, Excel, and Vertex
• Experience preparing, analyzing, and validating large datasets
• Experience with e-commerce operations
• Solid knowledge of GAAP including ASC 606
• Excellent at problem solving and process redesign
• Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
• Attention to detail
• “Can do” attitude and willingness and desire to do whatever it takes
