Renewal Manager

As a Renewal Manager at Onit, you will own, drive, and lead the renewals and growth process to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships. You will be working proactively with customers to ensure their services are renewed in a timely manner and their questions are answered. You will contact customers ahead of the contract expiration dates to secure their renewals before their contract expire. You will partner with the Customer Success Manager to strategize on the most effective renewal plan for the customer.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Responsible for timely renewal of software.
  • Meet renewal, retention, growth and other account targets
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate account risks
  • Grow revenue through price increases during renewal cycle.
  • Identify and maintain accurate forecast of renewal and upsell opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success, Account Management, and Legal Teams around account plans and contracting.
  • Successfully triage priorities and effectively adapt to ensure customer value is assured
  • Maintain accurate data in systems of record - Salesforce, Customer Success Platform (Planhat), and internal systems.
  • Team player with a positive attitude. Ready to roll up your sleeves to help out both team members and members of other departments.
  • "Can Do" attitude where no obstacle is too big


Requirements

  • 3-5 years of quota-carrying Sales / Customer Success / Account Management experience, preferably within a SaaS organization
  • Experience negotiating contract terms
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills and demonstrated capability closing complex SaaS contracts/agreements
  • Experience handling large volume of renewals (approx 300-500 annually)


Nice to Have

  • Experience writing contracts
  • Experience in sales development, sales, account management, customer success
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Planhat or Gainsight
  • Start-Up Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced degree preferred or equivalent experience
